About SneakersBook
SneakersBook is a sneaker collection management platform founded in 2024. It helps collectors of all levels track their sneakers, monitor estimated market values from aggregated pricing data, analyze portfolio performance with profit-and-loss analytics, and connect with other collectors through public profiles. The platform is available on the web today, with iOS and Android apps currently in development.
Whether you own 5 pairs or 500, SneakersBook provides the tools to organize, understand, and share your collection. Every sneaker in your collection receives an estimated market value drawn from multiple third-party data sources, presented with confidence levels so you always know how reliable the data is.
Why SneakersBook Exists
Before SneakersBook, sneaker collectors had limited options for tracking their collections. Most relied on spreadsheets, notes apps, or memory to keep track of what they owned, what they paid, and what their sneakers were worth. There was no dedicated tool that combined collection management, market value tracking, and community features in one place.
SneakersBook was built to solve this problem. The platform gives collectors a single place to catalog every pair, see estimated market values updated from aggregated pricing data, track how their portfolio performs over time, and share their collections publicly with other enthusiasts.
The goal is straightforward: make it easy for any sneaker collector to understand what they have, what it's worth, and how their collection is performing.
How Market Values Work
SneakersBook aggregates estimated market value data from multiple third-party pricing sources. When you add a sneaker to your collection, the platform looks up available pricing data and presents an estimated current market value along with a confidence level that indicates data reliability.
Confidence levels range from high (multiple data sources agree on pricing) to low (limited data available). This transparency ensures collectors understand the reliability of each valuation and can make informed decisions about their portfolios.
Important: All market values displayed on SneakersBook are estimates. They do not constitute financial advice, guaranteed resale prices, or professional appraisals. SneakersBook does not facilitate buying, selling, or trading of sneakers. Collectors should independently verify values before making financial decisions.
