Where to cop
There are several entry points and they close at different times. The adidas Confirmed app raffle runs until 9:30 AM ET on August 1, thirty minutes before the drop, so that is the last window to enter. Pharrell's own blackyachtrock.com ran a separate draw that closed July 28 at 10:00 AM ET. JD Sports gave Status members shipping access starting July 28 at 9:00 AM ET, and JD, Foot Locker, and Finish Line locations carry it in store and online. Given unisex sizing, the size run is deeper than a typical men's release, which helps at general retail.
What we know about the design
The Jellyfish is an exaggerated interpretation of the Adistar Cushion 3, a late 2000s running model, blown out into the inflated proportions Pharrell has run across the VIRGINIA collection. Earlier pairs came in Black and Cream. Going fully white removes the color blocking that made the shape easier to read, which is the point: the silhouette carries the shoe. At $300 it sits at the top of adidas collab pricing, above the Samba and Gazelle collabs most buyers compare it to.
